Improvements Coming to Stock Car Program at Lancaster Motorplex

LANCASTER, NY (December 30, 2021) … Improvements are coming to the stock car program at Lancaster Motorplex in time for the 2022 racing season. The upgrades will benefit not only the drivers but the fans and crews as well. “All the improvements being made to the facility will be beneficial for everyone who comes through the gates,”, comments Brian, a spokesman from the stock car management team.

Fans will see a brand-new lap counter for the 2022 season. The lap counter will be visible for all to see and will be integrated into the timing and scoring system that will be in place.

For 2022, the speedway will be having a new My Laps transponder system to enhance the timing and scoring for the stock car program. Drivers will have the opportunity to purchase a transponder or use their own My Laps transponder. The track will have a very limited number of transponders available to rent on race day.

The speedway will be having a brand-new website, built by MyRacePass. The new website will be integrated with the latest technology, including giving fans and drivers the chance to download the MyRacePass App and liking the speedway page. The app will have everything from lineups, to results, news, and have push notifications in an event of a cancelation or delay in the program. The MyRacePass App is available on both the App Store and Google Play. MyRacePass was formulated as a company in late 2014 and is now considered “The Ultimate Racing Resource.” MyRacePass brings all racing-related content together and distributes it back through their network via tagged drivers, tracks, racing series/associations, and motorsports-related businesses.

Eleven race dates will headline the 2022 stock car schedule at Lancaster Motorplex, including the 33rd and 34th edition of the US Open for tour-type Modifieds, the New York Super Stock Series (NYSS), and the Small Block Super Modified Championship Series. The complete schedule is available on the Lancaster Motorplex Facebook page. The 2022 season will get underway with the Awards/Registration Party in the spring. More details will be released after the holidays.
